Reporting Tools Version 9.2.
ActiveFactory Version 9.2 adds new charting capabilities,
integration of new data retrieval modes found in IndustrialSQL
Server 9.0, supports Microsoft Office 2007, transfers the
Reporting Website functionality to the new Wonderware
Information Server v3.0 (formerly SuiteVoyager) and uses a new,
improved licensing system.
What the new product delivers:
New
X-Y Scatter ChartService with “Target Regions”
The new
X-Y Scatter Plot allows plant engineers and others to directly
compare one process parameter such as temperature to another
process parameter such as flow over time. The data is linked
together with a trend line and directional markers are included
to easily spot the newest data from the oldest. Multiple X-Y
pairs can be plotted on the same trend window and this chart can
be placed into “Live” mode allowing new data to be displayed as
it becomes available.
InSQL
9.0 Data Retrieval Mode Support
Powerful
new data retrieval modes introduced in IndustrialSQL Server 9.0
are now supported within ActiveFactory Trends, Queries and
Workbook. These advanced data retrieval modes, such as
Time-in-State, Best Fit, Integral and others, allow power users
of ActiveFactory to easily create highly selective data queries
from IndustrialSQL Server. These queries help generate very
targeted information for plant troubleshooters and operations
managers.
Microsoft Office 2007 Support
As
always, Wonderware is committed to the support of the newest
Microsoft technology. ActiveFactory v9.2 supports Microsoft’s
newest version of its popular office productivity suite, Office
2007. ActiveFactory v9.2 leverages Excel 2007 and Word 2007’s
new functionality.
Transfer of Reporting Website Functionality to Information
Server 3.0
Since
the introduction of ActiveFactory 9.0 in 2005, a single web
reporting and analysis solution has been Wonderware’s vision.
With the releases of ActiveFactory v9.2 and Information
Server v3.0 this vision is being implemented as the
ActiveFactory Reporting Web Site has been migrated to the new
Information Server. Additionally, with this release is
the release of new Information Server client licenses to allow
easy migration from existing reporting web site systems.
A big
advantage of migrating to Information Server v3.0 Standard
Clients is the additional value that is delivered with this
license. Now, besides ActiveFactory Trends and Workbooks, new
Microsoft Reporting Services integration is included along with
basic InTouch Process Graphics (without Write Back) and InTouch
SmartSymbol and Web Part integration.
Improved License Enforcement
A new
license utility is being introduced with the release of
ActiveFactory v9.2 and Information Server v3.0. This new license
utility can be implemented locally or as a license server –
enabling true server based licensing. Now, a single license file
is provided for Per Named User, Per Named Device and Per Server
Concurrent licenses.
