: Wonderware Achieves Multiple SAP Certifications

 

Over the past weeks, Wonderware has achieved two important certifications from SAP proving that Wonderware's Plant floor to Business System integration capabilities are leading the industry.

 

Most recently, Wonderware has achieved the "Powered by SAP NetWeaver®" certification status.  The status was attained through successful certification of two new plant-to-business integration solutions. The first is Wonderware's Business Package for Process Performance Analysis 60.1 integrated with the SAP NetWeaver Portal. The second is the combination of the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI)-based Content Package for Order Processing 30.1 integrated with SAP® ECC 5.0 and Wonderware Enterprise Integrator 2.0. This certification also is part of the SAP certification program for ISA-95-based manufacturing interoperability.


The new Invensys integration solution for process performance analysis links plant-floor information with the SAP manufacturing intelligence dashboards of the mySAP ERP solution, delivering critical intelligence via alerts, reports and key performance indicators for real-time decision-making. The integration solution works with customers' existing plant automation and system investments by leveraging Invensys' ArchestrA open integration software architecture, along with Wonderware's powerful plant historian, analysis client tools and Microsoft SQL Server.  Customers will benefit from Powered by SAP NetWeaver certification through the assurance it offers that their existing plant applications can easily integrate using Invensys-Wonderware's open software with the SAP NetWeaver platform.

 

Achieving Powered by SAP NetWeaver certification status is a further step for Invensys in aligning with SAP's vision for adaptive manufacturing. Invensys is committed to evolve its offering for manufacturing production and performance management to leverage the SAP xApp Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP xMII) packaged composite application. Invensys is implementing these new software and integration solutions on its ArchestrA technology and underlying Microsoft technologies. In addition to the Powered by SAP NetWeaver® certification, Wonderware also announced that the Enterprise Integration Application 2.0 has completed certification as part of the SAP's "Interoperability Certification" program, which recognizes applications that integrate industry standards such as ISA-95.  Wonderware's Enterprise Integration Application enables manufacturers to improve operational performance by integrating diverse sets of manufacturing systems and business applications to achieve greater levels of business productivity.

 

Wonderware's Enterprise Integration Application is part of Wonderware's production and performance management software solution offerings, which include a complete range of applications for manufacturing execution systems, reporting, analysis and key performance indicators. Leveraging the Wonderware Enterprise Integration Application, manufacturers have the architectural freedom, flexibility and scalability to adapt to local plant requirements and budgets.
