ActiveFactory V9.0 Trending and Analysis Tools for ArchestrA available!
Wonderware has announced the
release of the next generation of Wonderware’s popular trending
and analysis client, ActiveFactory 9.0.
Wonderware has re-built ActiveFactory using entirely new
software technology. ActiveFactory version 9.0 uses
ArchestrA arch
Additionally, ActiveFactory 9.0 has an updated look and feel. Trend plots are more configurable now with new colors, shading and custom plot backgrounds even including image files. Customers can really jazz up their trend plots with version 9.0. The entire program was designed to share the same look and feel as Office 2003 and Windows XP.
Other Key Additions & Improvements:
New Multiple Period Support or Batch Trend Analysis Functionality
Users can now select the same tag
more than once for a trend plot then add a time offset to the
trace to allow comparison of amplitude values and time
sequencing issues between an earlier “good” batch run and the
real-time batch.
ActiveFactory 9.0 users can now
playback history data in the same manner they can activate the
live mo The ActiveFactory Reporting Website has been redesigned to support HTTP and HTTPS protocols and Port 80 making ActiveFactory much more IT friendly.
New .NET Controls A particularly strong feature of ActiveFactory has been its set of ActiveX controls that allows system integrators and developers to add trending, querying and tag navigation capabilities and more to custom applications with much less effort and cost. ActiveFactory 9.0 now provides these same tools as .NET controls so they can be integrated natively into .NET applications like corporate web portals with a minimum of effort.
New Product Licensing Structure To provide industry leadership along with providing customers higher levels of flexibility and to better align ourselves with Microsoft’s current application licensing model, Wonderware has taken the decision to change our licensing structure for ActiveFactory 9.0.
Three types of new ActiveFactory 9.0 licenses will be offered;
