New England/NY WonderWorld Series a Hit

Customers in the New England and upstate New York area recently got a chance to see the latest offerings from Wonderware at the New England Wonderworld events held June 22nd in Rochester, New York and June 24th in Worcester, Massachusetts.  Hundreds of customers attended these first time events to hear presentations from Q-mation technical representatives and Wonderware executives detailing the benefits of Wonderware’s Industrial Application Server.  The highlight to each session was the keynote presentation given by Tim Sowell (Wonderware’s Vice President of Product Strategy.  Tim presented information regarding the way in which ArchestrA® technology easily integrates applications and generates plant intelligence, saving industrial organizations significant amounts of money while protecting a plant's existing technology investments.  Attendees were shown examples of actual FactorySuite A² installations to illustrate how existing InTouch® and FactorySuite® customers extended and evolved their applications, as well as how non-Wonderware customers could reap the benefits of ArchestrA technology without abandoning their existing plant infrastructure.  These unique benefits of IAS are the core reason for the tremendous success of the package since its release and for the industry acclaim that the package has received in recent months (Industrial Automation Technology of the Year award and Customer Value Leadership award from Frost & Sullivan; ‘Editors’ Choice Award from Control Engineering magazine; First place in the HMI and SCADA software categories as part of Control magazine’s 2004 ‘Readers’ Choice Awards).
